Do you accept walk ins?
Walk ins are accommodated on a space available basis. We recommend you book a reservation to ensure you can visit the cats. Reservations must be made at least two hours before the session you want to attend begins.

Are the cats adoptable?
We are a public foster facility for The Rescue House, which has been finding homes for adoptable cats in San Diego since 1999. If you do meet a cat that's the right one for you, please ask the staff or volunteers about the adoption process.
How do you make sure the cats stay happy and healthy?
We limit the number of people who can visit the cats to no more than 10. Visitors must maintain a the calm and relaxed environment both humans and cats enjoy. Any visitor causing distress to the cats will be asked to alter their behavior and required to leave if they do not.
How many cats will be in the Cat Cafe?
We typically have 10 to 12 cats on site. The number of cats may vary depending on the needs of The Rescue House and recent adoptions.
Can I arrive the day of?
Yes, but walk-up reservations only have 30 minutes of playtime with the cats. We suggest you book online atleast 24 hours in advance.

How can I adopt?
There's no doubt you will fall in love with one of our felines. All of our cats are up for adoption. Please contact us and we will help you apply to adopt one of our furballs.
How do you make sure the cats stay happy and healthy?
Our number one priority is the welfare of our cats, the minute you walk into the cafe you'll see this. We've been able to find forever homes for SO many of our feline friends. We limit the number of customers allowed in the cafe at once. Typically, no more than 12 to 16 customers are allowed in the cafe at once.
How many cats will be in the Cat Cafe?
According to the ASPCA, communal cat facilities should have no more than a dozen cats. We think that is a good number to shoot for. There may be fewer cats depending on availability from our partners and recent adoptions.
