This tour begins in the city of Candelaria with its wonderful basilica and the Black Virgin. Here you will also find the former kings of the former inhabitants called “the Guanches” next to the original lava beach
.We pass through the old capital La Laguna to the north through the well-known wine area, and stop at the town of El Sauzal. Here we have a beautiful view of all these terraces that used to be used by locals for the export of tropical fruits, sugar
and tomatoes.In the Parque de los Lavaderos we have time to take a short walk, and there is also a nice bar with a terrace for a good local coffee, “el Barraquito”.
Our next stop in Humboldt gives us a beautiful view of the entire Orotava Valley, and then we'll have lunch in the town of La Orotava. This lunch consists of Canarian soup, and as a main course we have a selection of local fish, meat or vegetarian. Wine and water also belong to this menu.
After lunch we have time to visit the highlights of the city. Like Victoria Park and a botanical garden behind the beautiful town hall with classic Spanish style
.Later we arrived in the town of Icod de los Vinos to enjoy a photographic break of the famous “the Millennial Dragon” tree. A free tasting of local products such as wine and cactus fig jam is also offered
.On the way back to the south we will stop at the Garachico viewpoint. The town destroyed by a lava flow in 1706, and we finally continued our comfortable tour of the island
