Calling all dog enthusiasts! This tour is a must for you. Huskies, cherished residents of the North, eagerly await your visit, and you’ll quickly understand their popularity. Pet them, pose for photos, and hear stories about their lives. Born to run, these sled dogs showcase their prowess on our 7-10 km safari, offering an exhilarating firsthand experience. After receiving guidance from our seasoned mushers, it’s time for you to take the reins and drive the team of huskies towing the sled. This adventure allows you to fully embrace the spirit of the Arctic!
Our husky farm is located a few minutes’ walk from the resort.
Our guides have the discretion to allocate individuals to each sleigh, ensuring an even load for every dog team.
It's important to note that our guides do not serve as sled drivers; therefore, participants should have sufficient physical fitness and body control to fully enjoy the experience of being mushers.
The dogs has limits to what they can pull. This means we might have to adapt seating arrangements to the capabilities of the dogs.
One husky team can handle 2 adults and 2 children per sled. One adult will drive the sled, the other one can sit with the children. Halfway through the tour you can change drivers.
If the size, weight or amount of the participants in a group exceed the capacity of the team, we will offer to have the older children or adults join the guides sled or cart.
