Located in Lugar de Baixo, just 15 km from Funchal, the museum is designed to offer a full sensory experience of banana production in Madeira. At BAM, we work side by side with local farmers to invigorate, rehabilitate, adapt, modernize, and promote research and innovation around the Banana of Madeira.

Explore experimental fields, innovative banana bunch transport systems, and state-of-the-art greenhouses. At the bar, enjoy a tasting experience while taking in views of our banana plantations.
