Aloha i ka lā (greet the day) with us on our version of the classic Hawaiʻi island tour! Our first stops are among the 18 mile long Wailuku River as we make our way to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. At the park, we will explore the ins and outs of our ever growing Kilauea volcano—lunch on an active volcano included. As we make our way south we’ll see grand displays of Hawai’i islands geologic history, with any luck, a few Hawaii endemic turtles as well at a black sand beach! As we wrap up the day we’ll get you ready for the following morning by swinging into a legendary sweetbread and malasada bakeshop as well as an award winning coffee farm. If you prefer to indulge in the moment, well, you're on vacation—follow your heart!
Physical Requirements: Participants should be comfortable walking short distances and navigating some uneven terrain, including stairs and low ceilings in the Thurston Lava Tube.
Age Restrictions: This tour is suitable for participants 6 years of age and up, all minors need to be accompanied by an adult.
Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level AND/OR be able to walk 1.5 miles on uneven terrain.
Comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes are highly recommended due to the varied terrain and weather conditions. A light jacket and/or rain jacket is recommended in case of rainy weather.
If available to you, we recommend bringing the following items. There is lots of additional space in the vehicle for 1 small carry-on item per person.

Transportation is included in your tour experience. We offer convenient pick-up services for guests between 6:30 am and 8:00 am, depending on your preferred location. We pick up from most hotels on the West side of Hawaii Island, Kona airport, and have four central meeting points:
