On this small group walking tour of Arthur's Seat & Holyrood Park, your professional guide will lead you through the very distinctive geological, natural and historical sites
Holyrood Park is home to an extinct volcano, medieval religious sites, 3 lochs ("lakes" in Scotland) and an Iron Age hill fort. Following your climb up (and many photographs at the top) you will venture back down and end the tour where you started.

- Nordic Pole/Hiking pole for anyone who usually uses them on hikes
Please do not turn up in flip flops as you won't be able to join the tour

We meet right at the bottom of the Royal Mile, in front of the golden King's Gallery sign.
Meeting Location for the tour: in front of King's Gallery entrance, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Canongate, Edinburgh EH8 8DX. Please allocate at least 25mins to get here from the Royal Mile.
Your guide will be standing in front of the entrance of King's Gallery.
