VOYAGE PREPARATION
To prepare your pirates for excursion be sure to bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, etc… Our treasure hunts will also continue in light rain so please prepare accordingly.
Bottled water and Bluefoot Pirate Swag are available for purchase.
If you are an experienced pirate and wish to adorn your own pirate attire, we welcome you to do so!
You need to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Please check your passenger count and make sure all passengers including adults, children, and infants have a ticket. Everyone in your party must have a paid ticket to board.
Maximum 49 Passengers allowed on board (Adults, Children and Infants all heads count). No exceptions.
Prepare for traffic as we are directly across the street from the beach which often gets busy (including draw bridge delays). The half hour before the trip is for instructions, preparation, temporary tattoos and getting the kids dressed up for the adventure. If you are late, you run the risk of missing your trip or the kids not being able to get their swag.
The ship departs on the hour. It is your responsibility to arrive on time. We are not responsible for tardiness resulting in missing the activity. No cancelling or rescheduling if you miss your scheduled trip.
No cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours of your scheduled departure time.
PARKING
You can self-park near our boat in the Marina self-parking area, we will be on the north area of the parking lot, next to the Quarterdeck Restaurant. The parking rate in this lot is $5 per hour. The parking lot is operated by the city of Dania, pricing information is referential and subject to change. Pirates are not responsible for parking, parking tickets, etc.
TIPPING GUIDE
Gratuities are not included in your booking price and are greatly appreciated. Tips are CASH ONLY. You may leave tips for crew members in the tip jar or with the Captain. Suggested gratuity is 20% but any amount is deeply appreciated.
STROLLER POLICY
If the trip has 20 people or less, you may bring a stroller aboard. If there are more than 20 people attending, strollers must be left on the dock as we have limited space on deck.
WEATHER AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Bluefoot Pirate Adventures reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason including but not limited to weather, low occupancy, boat maintenance, or other unexpected events that may impact the ability to sail.
Trips will only be cancelled for weather in advance of the trip in the event of named storms. If it looks like rain, PLEASE STILL ARRIVE FOR YOUR TRIP. Cancellations for weather events will be made at the sole discretion of the Bluefoot Pirates Captain on the day and near the time of departure. South Florida weather is very unpredictable at times, it might be raining where you are but not where our tour goes. We are also famous for our 10-minute thunderstorms that clear up before you know it.
If the weather is unsafe and the captain cancels the trip AND you are present at the dock when this occurs, you will receive a full refund or the option reschedule to another available trip. If you are not present when the Captain cancels the trip due to unsafe weather conditions, you will not be able to cancel or reschedule and will be charged the full amount on your reservation.
There is a 24 HOUR NO CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY based on your departure time. If you do not cancel/reschedule your reservation before 24 hours of your scheduled departure time you will be charged the full amount. Passengers that miss the boat and have not contacted Bluefoot prior to 24 hours will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Bluefoot Pirates are NOT responsible for tardiness.
