Visit to The Gin Library, home to Europe’s largest gin collection, with over 600 bottles from 34 countries. Our collection showcases Baleia, our in-house gin, as well as Rocha Negra, both proudly distilled in the Azores on the island of São Miguel. Your visit includes a G&T made from your choice from the collection, as well as the opportunity to capture photos and videos of this unique location. You can try additional gins from the collection for €15 per drink.
This experience is held come rain or shine. When the weather is nice, the library doors are open, and you will have your own reserved seating outside on the estate grounds. Enjoy your gin and tonic as you watch the sun set over the green hills opposite The Solar Branco Eco-Estate towards the ocean.
Over the last 20 years, Ali Bullock, owner of The Gin Library has learned more than a little bit about gin as he travelled to dozens of countries and cities in search of the best gins around the world. Whether you wish to sip on a classic London Dry, taste a modern floral or fruit forward gin, the choice is yours. Our librarians will help you choose and we curate each one, perfectly balancing the right tonic water and locally grown garnishes.
You will be hosted by our Head Librarian Lemon. While owner Ali Bullock cannot guarantee to be on site for your visit, Lemon, as well as our assistant librarians, the resident rescue cats, will look after you. Should you wish to ensure you will be hosted by Ali, please book our “Gin Masterclass” experience.
