Reef snorkeling at the Coffins Patch Sanctuary Preservation Area. This open water patch reef, about four nautical miles away, features a water depth of 8' - 18', soft and hard corals, and abundant tropical SEA LIFE!
The Key's version of "the beach", Valhalla Sandbar, offers a white sand bottom & 1' - 3' water depth which make for great shallow water snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing beside the Turtle Grass Flats. Here you can discover Conch, Bahamian Starfish, Horseshoe Crabs and elusive Sea Horses.
When SEA STATE does not permit passage to the outer reef, we will transition to a VALHALLA SANDBAR trip for shallow water snorkeling & swimming, followed by a TOMS HARBOR eco-tour.
