Excursion to Évora and Monsaraz

We will meet atMarquês de Pombal Square at the indicated time and we will leave Lisbon to go toAlentejo wine region.

We will pass through the plains ofvineyards, olive trees and cork oaksto get to our first stop, aCity declared a World Heritage Siteby Unesco.Welcome to Évora!

After we introduce ourselves, we will start aÉvora walking tour. Did you know that it is one of the best preserved medieval cities in Portugal?The cathedral, the Roman Temple, the Chapel of Bones... Strolling through its streets, we will see the most important monuments of the town while telling you several curiosities.

Did you get hungry after the route? Before continuing the tour, you will havean hour of free time for lunchat a local restaurant.

The second stop will be at Monsaraz, um dosoldest villages in Portugal, built within the walls of a castle. There, you can enjoy views of one of the largestartificial lakes in Europe, o Alqueva. You won't be able to stop taking pictures! In addition, you can do an optional tasting of5 most prestigious wines from Alentejo.

Finally, we will return to Lisbon after an eight-hour route.
