A blindfolded tasting to test your senses, your skills and knowledge in the oenological field.
You will have the opportunity to blindfold taste 3 wines of the same type but from different wineries, immersing yourself in an engaging mix between aromas and taste sensations that stimulate your ability to recognize.
With the help of an expert, we will try to discover together their aromas and the origin of the wine, compiling a sensory sheet for each tasting.
Blind tasting consists of analyzing the wine without being able to know about the producer, the type of wine, its origins and oenological techniques, since it is served in bottles whose labels have been covered.
This type of tasting is done, among other things, to give tasters the opportunity to make the most of their potential. In fact, it has been scientifically proven that if you taste a well-known wine, a part of the brain remains “dormant” in the sense that it does not use all its abilities, relying on impressions already
known. It must be said that in order to make the result more precise and to support the purposes of the tasting during the blind tasting, some preventive communications may be given regarding some fundamental elements for carrying out the analysis of the wine.
