Monserrate Palace

Visit one of the most iconic palaces in Sintra, the Monserrate Palace. This 19th century building, restored from existing ruins by an English merchant by the name of Francis Cook, is presently a sublime monument showing clear oriental and medieval influences. It appears briefly in the film "The Promise" released in 2017. This palace also boasts one of the most beautiful and complete botanical gardens in Portugal. Cabo da Roca

Next, discover the most westerly point of continental Europe. From the cliff tops, enjoy the fantastic view of the beaches and the sea. From the road near the coast, you can gaze at the beaches and the beautiful towns of Estoril and Cascais.

Cascais

Conclude your trip with a visit to the charming coastal town of Cascais.
