description: From urban to rural in one day
What are you more, city or country? If you are one of those who can't decide because you want a little bit of everything, this tour is made for you. Here we have an advantage, the distances are short, and if we also have one of our vehicles, I won't even tell you! We pick you up wherever you want and go, first of all, to tour all of Amsterdam: castles, canals, boat houses, museums, modern buildings... everything! And then, with a bang, we are going to see the most rural side of Holland at the Zaanse Schans mills. Sounds good, doesn't it?
After taking a private vehicle tour of the city, discovering the most representative areas of Amsterdam, we will head to the Zaanse Schans windmill park, the country's economic engine between the 16th and 18th centuries, since the Dutch took advantage of the force of the wind to grind the spices they brought from the colonies, to make oils, mustards, etc. We will enter a mill dedicated to spices and a clog workshop, where they will demonstrate the production of traditional Dutch footwear.
As this is a private tour, you can enjoy free time to take photos or make purchases. The itinerary can be agreed at the beginning of the tour to adapt it to your wishes, always considering the duration of the tour.

itinerary: 01.
Dam Square
The heart of the city and the only large square in Amsterdam. In it we find such iconic buildings as the Royal Palace or the New Church, as well as the National Liberation Monument. We suggest that we stop for a few minutes to enjoy the many street artists that usually flood this square. There's always a lot of hustle and bustle in Dam
02.
Old Town
This is the old walled area of the city, the medieval part. Catholic churches that became Protestant, cobbled streets, narrow canals, 15th century castles... Isn't it like traveling back in time
03.
Canal Ring
A true urban wonder, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which reflects the greatness of the Dutch Golden Age. Whether from the vehicle or taking a relaxed stroll, you'll be amazed by the mansions built here by the wealthy merchants of the 17th century. Don't see how these Dutch people put it together
04.
The Jordaan
For many, the most beautiful neighborhood in Amsterdam. Do we tell you a secret? There are several hidden inner courtyards around here that can only be visited in small groups... Believe us, they are from the movies. Ah! Of course we won't forget to stop by the Anne Frank House
05.
Museum Square
Here you can breathe culture 24/7, from the impressive Rijksmuseum to Van Gogh's largest collection in his eponymous museum. Did you know that Amsterdam has the most museums per km2 in the world? Well, this square is already taking the cake!
06.
The Amstel River
We know what you're thinking and no, it's not named after the beer, but the other way around. What would a big city be without its river? And not only that, but this one gives the city its name: Amster- comes from Amstel and -dam... We'll tell you about it on the tour!
07.
KNSM Island
If you thought Amsterdam was just canals and leaning buildings, this will surprise you. This is an artificial island that had formerly served as a shipyard for the Royal Dutch fleet. Today we find a residential area that stands out for its modern architecture. Do you dare to discover it
08.
Zaanse Schans
Can you imagine how people lived in Holland during the 17th and 18th centuries? Well, when you visit Zaanse Schans it will be much clearer to you, with its wooden houses or its emblematic windmills. We will enter one of them and we will be able to see live how the famous wooden clogs are made. Quite a trip back in time!
