Yes Chef Chicago: A Bear-Inspired Food Tour

No TV show has better captured the rich and diverse culinary scene of Chicago than THE BEAR. The first two seasons were runaway hits, garnering an astounding 13 Emmy nominations, while showcasing our city's vibrant city and culture in every single frame.

On our YES CHEF! foodie bus tour, we'll show you around the neighborhoods Carmy, Sydney and Richie visited in the first two seasons, sharing the fascinating history of the local foodie scene along the way, and tossing in some behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the story's creation.

We'll stop for a bite at several of the restaurants featured in the show, including a visit to the Italian beef shop that was THE BEAR's original inspiration. Pastries, pizza, beef, noodles...by the end you'll be answering every question with a satisfied "YES CHEF!"

Tips & Guidelines

Gratuities to your tour guide(s) are greatly appreciated if you enjoy your time on the tour. As a quick tip - the standard gratuity in the local service industry is 15-20%.

Participants are urged to bring extra cash for use towards return fare and/or souvenirs and gifts for after the tour.

Food tasting locations are subject to change without notice.

What to Wear

Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes (flip-flops, high heels, and dress-shoes are not recommended.)

Check the weather! Umbrellas on rainy days, warm layers on cold days, and cool clothing on hot days will make your experience much more enjoyable.

What to Bring/What Not to Bring

Participants are urged to bring cameras, smart phones and even polaroid's if you have them! There are some awesome photo opportunities during the tour and we recommend you capture these memorable moments anyway possible.

Participants are urged to bring sun glasses, sun screen, and/or a hat during the summer months.

We love pets too (and would love to meet yours), but because the tour visits a number of food establishments, you'll need to leave your pets at home/hotel.
