Enjoy an incredible day in St Andrews, the home of golf and also the home of Scotland's oldest and arguably most famous university.
Shortly after we leave Edinburgh, we will drive to an outlook, offering splendid views over the three bridges spanning the Firth of Forth, including the iconic Forth Rail Bridge.
Thereafter, we will travel through the East Neuk of Fife, an area famous for picturesque villages, arable and livestock husbandry, soft fruit growing and a magical coastline.
Upon arriving at St Andrews, enjoy a walking tour of this beautiful seaside town, famous throughout the world not only for golf, but also for its prestigious, historic university.
This beautiful corner of Scotland was also the Ecclesiastical centre of Scotland, home to the majestic former St Andrew's Castle, Bishop's Palace and to Scotland's largest and most impressive Cathedral.
After lunch either take part in a walking tour of the Old Course (needs to be pre-booked @ £15 p.p) or we will hug the coastline and visit the delightful fishing village of Crail.
This is a private tour for your group only.
Please wear solid walking shoes and wear suitable clothing!
We will pick you up from either your Edinburgh city centre hotel OR from LEITH OR NEWHAVEN cruise ship terminals
