You will discover the essence of one of the smallest cities in England. You will get to gaze upon the magnificent historical buildings and learn about its history whilst visiting five of its great independents bars and restaurants where you will try food which will delight your tastebuds.
We have introduced a minimum number policy on the Please note that due to rising costs, a minimum of 4 participants is now required for our tours.
If fewer than 4 people are booked, we will contact you one week before your scheduled tour. At that point, you’ll have the option to:
• Pay a £50 supplement for the tour pp to proceed as a private experience, or
• Reschedule to an alternative date with other guests.
Parking in the main car park (Cathedral car park) is cheap and less than a five minute walk to the meeting point at the Obelisk.
Please dress for the weather – layers are best and wear suitable footwear for a gentle stroll.
We will be walking around the city and walk a little less than a mile in total. It is mostly flat although some of the streets are cobbled.
We do recommend having a very small breakfast – you want to save yourself for some delicious tastings!
