Workshops are one hour and fifteen minutes long.
Your broom size may vary slightly, but on average small brooms are 54cm/22"", Mediums are 78cm/31"", and Larges 130cm/52"". If you are visiting from afar, do measure your luggage before you book your workshop to make sure your chosen broom will fit inside.
Accessibility: Workshops are held in the back room of our shop. The broom making workshop is a very physical activity. It is seated, but uses the synchronised activity of stepping on a dowel with both feet while pulling and twisting the broom with both hands, and requires a moderate amount of upper body strength. You will be using your entire body for this workshop.

Important note! All workshops and readings between now and 31st January 2026 are held at Wheel of Fate, 63 Causewayside, Edinburgh, EH9 1QF. Any workshops scheduled for after this date will be held at our new location on Leith Walk: 24 Haddington Place, Edinburgh, EH7 4AF.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time, as we are unable to start the workshop late. We look forward to seeing you!

When the event syncs to your preferred e-calendar, it adapts to your timezone settings. It also struggles with British Summer Time (Daylight Savings Time). So please refer to your confirmation for the accurate start time!
"Why is this total different to the amount I paid?" The pricing breakdown shown here does not show the fee paid to our booking software platform Fareharbor. This is calculated at 5% of the price of the workshop.
