Attention
Thanks for booking our clear kayak tour in Weeki Wachee!

We're so excited to kayak with you!

Here's some important information to know before your adventure:

  • Sorry, no furry friends!

  • Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure.

  • Please sign your waivers online prior to arriving for your tour (all guests, including minors). These will be sent to you in a separate "Action Required" email.

  • Sunscreen + bug spray will ruin the clarity of the kayaks so we ask that you apply it 15 minutes prior to tour departure as it is not permitted to be applied during the tour.

  • Exercise-type clothes are welcome. During the winter months, we encourage you to bring a jacket/windbreaker + socks because we do not allow shoes in the kayak (so please be prepared to take them off before the tour)!

  • Alcohol + smoking are prohibited throughout the Weeki Wachee River + on tour.

  • As a friendly reminder: our guides work on generosity from tips. If you haven’t already included gratuity at the time of booking, our guides very much appreciate a cash tip! We like to say, "If you enjoyed your ride, tip your guide!"

  • We do not exit the kayak for the duration of the tour as the Weeki Wachee is ecological sensitive + this policy preserves the integrity of the ecosystem for generations to come.

We foster a commitment to education, stewardship + responsible ecotourism so learn about manatees from our team of Guardian Guides certified by Save the Manatees Club!

  • Remember that wildlife is wild + it's always a hope never a promise that we will see manatees! Nature is dynamic which means color + water clarity can change from day to day.

  • We do not always see manatees in clear water + take our guests to the areas where we are most likely to see wildlife based on the days conditions. This means sometimes we visit areas that don't have clear water!

** Since there is the possibility of kayaking with manatees in their home and they are a threatened species we ask that you watch this short video (just under 3 minutes) by Save the Manatees about how to safely operate a kayak around them!**

Manatee conservation is our passion at Get Up and Go Kayaking Weeki Wachee! We love sharing all the seacow-know-how so we that we can share their home with them for many years! We donate a $1 for every guest that joins us on a tour and an additional dollar for every 5 star review to manatee, springs and land conservation!

Please reach out to us if you have any questions at 352-667-7042.

Thank you for joining us for a clear kayak tour + letting us share the wonderful Weeki Wachee with you!

See you on the water soon!
