Winegrowing on Mallorca has a history of over 2000 years. When the Romans landed on the island in 123 BC, they brought vines with them and cultivated wine. The experience of over 2000 years of wine culture is reflected in the quality, diversity and qualities of the wines produced on Mallorca.
As part of the Mallorca Wine Gourmet Tour, the trail leads to a very special winery at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains and thus deep into the still unknown realms of Majorcan wine.
The pick-up takes place directly at the property and takes the modern and air-conditioned limousine to the winery, which is about 25 minutes away. A warm welcome, an expert tour and excellent island wines await us here.
From there, the route takes us to the center of the island to a gourmet restaurant with authentic regional cuisine and delicious creations.
Themeal is accompanied by local wines, which excellently show the variety of Majorcan products.
After eating, a little exercise won't hurt. After a 25-minute drive, the vehicle heads for a winery, which is located in the middle of the grapevines and invites you to take a walk through the vineyards. There is a lot to learn about the indigenous varieties of Mallorca, such as Prensal Blanc, Giros Ros or Manto Negro. And of course, all of these local varieties, aged into top wines, are also tasted.
The tour of the estate always creates disbelieving amazement at the exhibits on display there and at the tangible history of Mallorca's culture. A feast for all senses.
The adventure day finally ends again at the accommodation, full of wonderful impressions and great delights.
