description: The 'Best of British' Food Tour with a side helping of breweries, The Bard, bad behaviour and other local history.
Immerse yourself in the 1000-year history of this truly massive food market in the London Bridge neighborhood. Taste your way through the market with creamy British cheeses, fresh fruit crumbles, and the best sausage roll in the city.
The Borough Market is one of the most impressive and vibrant food markets in the world and a must-see on anyone’s visit to London. Discover the best traders in the market and hear fascinating stories about its history and cultural importance within London’s food scene. Though this is much more than a market tour, because London Bridge is such an iconic and historic part of the city. We will wander the backstreets around the market before settling in at one of our favourite pubs, a local landmark that provides the perfect way to end our food & drink experience at this historic venue.

Give yourself one hour to arrive at the meeting point. London is a big and busy city and there can be delays. Catching the underground trains is always quicker than catching a cab, due to traffic. Please plan your route ahead of time. Know which underground station you are arriving at and please note the group heads off at exactly the starting time and the guide cannot wait for you.
